Let's get into the book The Grand-master of Demonic Cultivation: A book review
This review is for the absolutely amazing book that is Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. It is alternatively known as Mo Dao Zu Shi and The Founder of Diabolism. Usually I am not this whipped for a story, but for this one I am whipped. Whipped people, completely, madly and unabashedly whipped. Send Help.
The blurb-
As the grandmaster who founded demonic cultivation, Wei WuXian roamed the world in his wanton ways, hated by millions for the chaos he created. In the end, he was backstabbed by his dearest shidi and killed by powerful clans that combined to overpower him.
He incarnates into the body of a lunatic who was abandoned by his clan and is later, unwillingly, taken away by a famous cultivator among the sects—Lan WangJi, his archenemy.
This marks the start of a thrilling yet hilarious journey of attacking monsters, solving mysteries, and raising children. From the mutual flirtation along the way, Wei WuXian slowly realizes that Lan WangJi, a seemingly haughty and indifferent poker-face, holds more feelings for Wei WuXian than he is letting on…
The blurb lies, this book has so much more to offer.
I came to know about this book
from the comments section of some edits of The Untamed. Being the bookworm I am,
I searched for sources from where I could read the translation of the book as
it is a Chinese novel. I found everything I wanted to know about this book from
fellow book blogger Silvia Reads books. If you want to check out her blog this
is the link-
The book is translated by Exiled Rebels Scanlations. The translator has done a wonderful job in translating the book. If you want to read an adult fantasy with epic, and I mean epic fights, adorable main characters, round and well developed side characters and a love story so very romantic click on the link given below for the translations.

There are books which have
strong characters, there are books which have strong plots;
what do you call a
book which has both. Bloody amazing, that’s what. What do you call The
Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation, bloody amazing that’s what.
This is a BL i.e. a boy love novel. Warning for people who are under 18, this book has smut scenes in graphic details. For everyone else, guys, this book has Smut scenes in graphic details👀👀😳😳😳. The two main characters Lan WangJi and Wei WuXian are so adorable with LWJ being the madly-in-love-but-cannot-for-the-life-of-him-express-it person and WWX being the absolutely-oblivious-to-what-people-around-him-are-feeling person, especially LWJ. Please that boy doesn’t even know what HE is feeling. Adorable you are bunny, but not exactly a bright bulb when it comes to feelings. This is especially funny because he becomes so surprised every time LWJ chooses him repeatedly over everything, proposes to him Chinese style with chickens and peaches, and never scolds him for anything WWX does. Surprised Pikachu face.
There are a few times which are confusing as the book gives no warning before plunging into flashbacks and the flashbacks themselves are a little slow, but it is necessary to the story. There are a lot of characters and clans and if you are not familiar with stories set in ancient China it might get a little confusing, but once you get into the flow of the story and get a clearer idea of the characters and the setting, I promise you it’s a thrilling ride. I remember being so obsessed with the story that my sister printed me a shirt of the Untamed. Especially because even the side characters are so well developed with back stories and personalities so different form one another. There is not one character who didn’t evoke strong response in me. There are times I became angry, there are times where I laughed, there are times where I wanted to throw the whole book out due to the second had embarrassment WWX gave me but I never wanted to stop reading it. It’s been a long time since I have resonated so strongly with a book. This book does have a serious lack of female characters though, and I don’t know what to do with that information.
Also if you have trouble
imagining the book there is a manhua, a donghua and a live action show of it. And
in every adaptation WWX is a bunny (I like that everyone simply agrees with
this view point). All three of them are visually stunning with music to die
for. Honestly the music itself deserves its own blog.
I would read it. I would also recommend
it if you are into this. I would recommend it even if you are not into this,
cause why not. It’s my final brain cell.
Toodles
P.S. This is a chummeswari book. I am deeply in love with it. And to all of the 25 readers of my blog post, don’t tell this to anyone.
Also posting a few more pictures from the Netflix adaptation cause I cannot stop watching it and it's my duty to tempt you.
I'm sorry I will stop now. Go watch youtube edits, they are funny. Hehehehe.

Really wonderful
